RIVENDELL PARK
Rivendell Park, hidden within the idyllic Dorset countryside, offers our guests a perfect space to relax and unwind. With 5 acres of parkland and unspoilt natural woodland, you can lose yourself in the tranquil atmosphere and get away from it all. Yet we are within easy reach of the beautiful beaches of Bournemouth and Poole, the rugged and stunning Jurassic Coast and the centuries-old New Forest National Park.
A family friendly glamping and camping resort with emphasis on looking after the environment. Not only do we encourage the natural habitats of our resident wildlife, we provide our guests with complimentary toiletries which do not harm the environment. Take a stroll around our lake, along our natural stream or walk through the woodland where you might just see our deer, rabbits, birds of prey, and butterflies that regularly visit the site. You could be woken by the dawn chorus, or the woodpeckers high up in the trees. With our love of the environment and our guests, we do not allow vehicles on site.
Whatever the weather, our facilities are there to help you relax and unwind. Our covered pool heated during the summer months. Our hot tub where you can immerse yourself even on the coldest days. Our sauna – available October to March – will take away those winter chills.
Well behaved dogs are welcome on our camping pitches and in our safari and bell tents. Sadly, we do not allow dogs in the House, Apartment or Lodge. We have plenty of water bowls and pick up bags. All we ask is that you respect other guests’ staying with us and keep you dog on a lead at all times.

The team at Rivendell Park will ensure that your stay is worry free. We maintain our facilities to the highest standards. Our fully licensed Terrace Bar is open during the summer months, where we also sell Purbeck Ice Cream, Soft Drinks and Confectionery. For keen BBQ fans we offer Paradise Herd Burgers and Steaks from our neighbouring farm, and we have a small shop offering a selection of things you just may have forgotten to pack.
Our accommodation is extensive. Rivendell House sleeping 7, or our 2 bed Rivendell Apartment or Woodman Lodge. For adventurous Glampers, we have our luxurious Safari Tents and Bell Tent Village. And for those traditional campers just wanting to pitch a tent, there are electric and non-electric pitches on the banks of the stream or in the woodland.
